Membership Requirements
- Valid FOID* Card if an Illinois Resident. (IL Only) (*Firearm Identification)
- Successfully completed the NRA Basic Pistol Class within the last 24 months (original NRA certificate is required, no copies accepted)
- You must hold a current NRA Membership. (May Join when taking class)
- You must be voted in by the general membership.
- You must attend the Pine Tree orientation class.
- Complete a minimum of 6 hours service to the Club within the year.
When you become a member and after completing the Pine Tree Orientation class, you will be issued an electronic key card. The card allows you access to the facility twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Occasionally, we close one or all ranges for maintenance or special shooting events, check the calendar for closures.
If you haven't registered yet, please Click Here and do so before signing up. After successfully completing the, NRA Basic Pistol Course, and meeting the other requirements, you will be qualified to be voted in as a member of PTPC.
The Pine Tree Pistol Club monthly meeting is held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. (See calendar to confirm dates) We are strictly a volunteer club and do not have full-time people to answer the phone.
Membership Fees
Membership fees are prorated if you join during the year. Below are the costs for a full year. If you sign-up online, you will choose the proper month and receive the prorated fee. You can click on the links below to purchase membership and classes. You must have the NRA Basic Pistol Class in the last two years to join. The class does not need to be taken at PTPC to be valid. If you haven't taken the class in the last two years, please click the link to enroll, you will be taken to the calendar of events where you will click on the class and register.

The Facility
- Range I, has six firing points that are twenty-five yards long; one of these points is handicapped accessible.
- Range II, has twelve firing points and is fifty feet long. All points on ranges I and II have target carriers for convenient recovery of targets.
- Range III, is twenty-five yards long, with no fixed firing points. The range is available for use by our holster qualified members only.
- PTPC, has a meeting/class room and full kitchen. The building is fully handicapped accessible and smoke-free.
